Ine Town is home to the rias coastline unique to the Sea of Japan. Why not take a leisurely sea kayak tour along this beautiful coastline?
The tour takes place at two locations: “Tomari,” where time flows gently, and “Honjo Beach,” known for its crystal-clear waters.
The views from the water’s surface are truly spectacular, and if you’re lucky, you may even get to see the “Blue Cave” at Honjo Beach and the “Ganmon” rock formation at Tomari.
Our guides provide attentive support, so even children and first-timers can participate with peace of mind. We use sit-on-top kayaks, and our instructors provide careful guidance, making this a safe and enjoyable experience for beginners.

*Please note that this kayaking experience takes place in the open sea beyond the bay, so it may be canceled if winds are strong on the day of the tour.
The probability of being able to visit the “Blue Cave” or “Ganmon” is approximately 30%, so we cannot guarantee access. Additionally, we do not offer refunds if we are unable to visit these locations.

Please understand this before applying.

Frequently Asked Questions

・Is this suitable for beginners?

First-timers are welcome to participate. However, please note that this sea kayaking experience takes place on the open ocean, not in a sheltered bay. If you are a beginner and concerned about seasickness, we recommend the “Amanohashidate Sea Kayaking” experience, which involves less rocking.

・What should I wear and bring?

・Clothing that can get wet (swimsuit, rash guard, etc.)
・Shoes that can get wet (or sandals with a secure heel strap)
・Drinks (500ml plastic bottle)
・Sunglasses
・Hat (we recommend one with a chin strap)
・Towel
・Sunscreen
・Waterproof phone case (available for free rental)
・Motion sickness medication (if you’re prone to motion sickness)
・Glasses strap (if you wear glasses)
While capsizing is rare, the possibility is not zero. Please do not bring any items onto the kayak that you wouldn’t want to get wet if you were to fall into the water. Please note that clothing such as jeans, denim, and sweaters—which become heavy when wet—is not permitted. *In case you forget your swimsuit or decide to join the experience at the last minute, we offer swimsuit rentals and sales on-site. Please feel free to stop by.

・Can the plan change or be canceled due to weather conditions?

・As a general rule, the event is canceled if north winds exceed 3 meters per second; however, it may also be canceled depending on wave conditions even if winds are lower. *Please understand that this is merely a guideline.
・The event may be canceled if a “Heavy Rain,” “Strong Wind,” or “High Waves” warning, or a “Thunderstorm Advisory” is issued.
・Regarding the decision process up until the day of the event…

We will call you the day before the kayaking trip to confirm.
(The event may be canceled if the weather on the day of the trip is clearly bad.)

On the day of the event, an instructor will conduct a visual inspection on-site to determine whether the tour will proceed.
(There is a possibility that the tour may be canceled on-site on the day of the event.)
