“Cottage Daikichi” is a small hidden inn located on a hill in Rokumambu, not far from Ine Hot Springs, and rented as a single house. Surrounded by trees, the scenery is of a quiet satoyama. The only sounds to be heard are the birdsong and the wind--a deep tranquility befitting the name "Oshinobi.
This location is a 10-minute drive from the center of Ine Town. In contrast to the boathouse area, which is known as a tourist spot, the atmosphere here is calm and serene, as if time is passing slowly.
The facility is a single house rental, limited to one couple per day. The inn is equipped with its own hot spring bath on the premises, using hot spring water from the Ine hot spring. You can use it as often as you like during your stay. Not only will you be able to relax from the fatigue of your trip, but your stay itself will be a time of “getting in shape”.
Another charm of Cottage Daikichi is its kitchen. The luxury of being able to enjoy fishing in the waters around Ine, and then having the fish you caught yourself cleaned, cooked, and served to you, is especially popular among anglers. The inn is equipped with a refrigerator, cooking utensils, and basic seasonings, and guests can also buy local ingredients at a nearby market and enjoy them at their own table.
In fact, many foreign guests stay here for long periods of time and enjoy the “extraordinary” as an extension of their daily lives.
